Hugo Lau was born and raised in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, the melting pot of international cultures and practicies, where people for centuries have been using both energetic (Chinese) medicine and allopathic (Western) medicine to complement each other in the pursuit of health and the treatment of diseases. Even as a child, he had witnessed and experiecned first hand the healing wonders of energetic (Chinese) medicine. It is a medicine of energy, of life, and of reasons. It takes into consideration everything from our body constitution to our upbringing environment, from how we live and look at life, to our eating, sleeping, and exercise habits.

Hugo Lau believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to learn of such a wonderful medicine of Qi (pronounced as “chee”) or energy for lack of a simpler term. He first started sharing this medicine some fifteen years ago when he tutored classes of Qi Gong (the training of Qi) and practiced with different Qi Gong Masters from mainland China. Since then he had earned a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture at Bastyr University in the state of Washington and had interned in Chinese medicine hospital and clinic in both Beijing and Hong Kong.
